Charts Chart title, Legend, Data labels, Tooltip, Chart area. Bar and line charts also have X axis and Y axis (title, ticks, line, gridlines).

Theme on the toolbar sets the look of labels, lines, images and rectangles for the whole board.

Conditional formatting: highlight what matters

Make a value stand out when it meets a condition, e.g. profit below 0 in red.

  1. Run the widget once, so its columns are known.
  2. Open Conditional formatting and click + Add a rule. A new rule starts as less than 0 → red.
  3. Set when: a column, a comparison and a value. Comparisons: is less than, is at most, is more than, is at least, is between, is, is not, contains, starts with, ends with, is blank, is not blank.
  4. Set apply to:
    • Tables: The cell or The whole row
    • Charts: the bars, slices or points, The data labels, or the axis labels
    • Metric: The number
  5. Choose what changes: colour, fill, weight, size, number format, prefix or suffix, or Hide it.

With several rules, the first rule that matches wins, per setting.

Text, lines, pictures and boxes

The toolbar also adds Label, Line, Image and Rectangle to decorate the board:

  • Label: any text. Click a parameter in Parameters you can use to show its current value, e.g. the selected region.
  • Image: Upload a picture or paste its URL, e.g. your logo.
  • Rectangle: a coloured box to group widgets visually.

Remove from canvas deletes a decoration.
